Oral Presentations


Time Allocation

The time allotted to presentations is 7 minutes (incl. 3 minutes for discussion). The time limit should be observed. A green signal will be on one minute before the time limit, then a red signal on at the end.
Please bring your presentation data 40 minutes prior to the start time of your session.
The presenting author should be seated in the designated places in the assigned session room 10 minutes before the session starts.

PC Presentation Only
All oral presentations should be conducted using Windows XP (Microsoft PowerPoint2000 or 2003).
Other devices or applications, including movies, will not be acceptable. Please check your presentation data saved in USB memory (Please bring your presentation data in CD-R in case of troubles) at PC center.
You are asked to operate your presentation by yourself at the podium.
The resolution of presentation slides is XVA (1024 x 768).

Preparation of Presentation Data
Presentation data accepted at the PC center is copied to the Secretariat's PC and made ready for presentation by transmitting via LAN system. All the copied data will be erased on the Secretariat's responsibility after the session. The Secretariat prepares Windows PC (OS is limited to Windows XP) only.
If you bring your presentation on media, please bring it on either USB Memory Stick. All the presentation data must be backed up in CD-R and brought to the session room to avoid any malfunction or damage of the submitted data. The application used for the presentation is PowerPoint only. No audio and Movie data output is acceptable.

Data in the media should be saved under the following rules;
1) 
Your presentation data file is named as <Session Number>- <Name>- <Session Title>.
2) 
Application Software is limited to PowerPoint.
3) 
Compatible PowerPoint versions are Windows MS PowerPoint 2000 and 2003.
4) 
Font types are limited to: 1.MS Gothic, 2. MS P Gothic, 3. Century, 4. Times New Roman.
5) 
It is advised to check your presentation data with a PC other than the one you made your presentation slides in order to make sure they are operable with the PC that the Secretariat prepares for the Session.

Poster Presentations

Time Allocation

The time allotted to presentations is 7 minutes for poster presentations (incl. 3 minutes for discussion). The time limit should be observed. There will be a signal by a bell one minute before the time limit, and at the end. Presentation (without microphone) and discussion should be done in front of your poster board and follow the Moderator's instruction.

Poster Check-in Desk
Please visit the Poster Check-in Desk in Nagasaki Brick hall: Entrance Lobby at least 30 minutes prior to your presentation time. The Poster Check-in Desk located in front of every poster session room.
Please stand by for your presentation at least 15 minutes prior to your presentation time.

Please display your poster materials by yourself

Those who participate in the Congress as a Poster Presenter are asked to visit the Poster Session Room. Poster board and pins are prepared in the room, and display your poster materials by yourself. The poster should be displayed between 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on 22(Friday) and to be removed between 16:10 to 17:30 on 23 (Saturday).
